 Matthias Harder was born on April 18th 1972 in Hamburg and is one of the founding members of SYLVAN. Being a little child, he already developed a great passion for fine arts. He began playing the piano early in his life, loved going to the theatre or concerts and believed for a very long time that he was sure to become a director one day.
After finishing his studies, he now is a full time musician and composer. Apart from his work with SYLVAN, he is the musical head and keyboarder of the band RAIN FOR A DAY, plays in various side projects and also writes songs for advertisements.
